No warm welcome for Sam, either. I guess asking Blowtop was too easy to work.

Oh, a literal Sam Slam!

Well, today’s strip sure brought the narrative momentum to a screeching halt.

Can they subpoena hothead to “tell the whole truth and nothing but”….? ‘cause they sure wont be getting answers by asking politely. Did the rubber hose factory go out of business ?  Is it me or does Sam have that old time long ago Sam ’flavor’ ?

Gotta admit – Blowtop gets right to the point and never leaves you wondering what he meant…

I like the drawing of Sam today, but still not a fan of Charles version of Blowtop.

A possibly incorrect and too early observation, but it appears to me that outside of the core Dick Tracy characters he draws additional characters in his natural style which is fuller, and his right to. But in my eyes they clash or don’t sync together with the core Dick Tracy characters, especially when they’re both in the same frame together.

Well, he did say Blowtop would refuse to talk.

Sam now knows what being a door-to-door salesman is like!

Blowtop must be taking Anger Management therapy. He conducted that conversation without a single “Gosh! Woo!” For him, that’s fairly restrained.

Blowtop may sue the police department for harassment. They insist on ticking the guy off.

What is worse for Sam; having Blowtop blowing cigarette smoke in his face, or, having Blowtop slam in the door in his face. Too bad Tracy nowadays can’t consitutionally create a pretext and haul Blowtop in for questioning in an nice non smoking “interview room.”

One of the posters here had goats. I was listening to the Satellite radio and the announcer said it’s take your kid to work day! So he introduced his kids= Baaaa,Baaa they were baby goats!
