Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Time lines are now in-sync. And yes, it has been years (thank you Aaron for breaking the 4th wall). Now we will see how much the “new Wally” remembers about the olld Wally.
This will be an interesting love hypertriangle. Wally and two Crackeds love Kirby and Holly and two Trixies. It seems now that Holly and Wally fell in love because their cardoodle parts remembered each other and their love-hate relationship.
Wherever they are, they don’t seem to be in danger from falling ocean liners, aircraft, cars, or buildings.
And in the comments for last episode, I wrote “Maybe it’s an escaped Rover from The Prisoner universe…”
Well, just like with Rovers from “The Prisoner” our gang has been knocked out and transported somewhere. At least they weren’t dragged along the beach,
I would not worry about Kirby finding Wally to be too different. In case you have not been paying attention, Wally’s good qualities (like caring for others) still show through. Cracky may make him a little more manic in reactions, but Wally is there.
And now maybe we will find out what Aaron Marx thinks is the real battle that Wally / Cracky must win. At least his support group has gotten larger, now.
If you don’t remember what Marx said about Wally, go to the May 9, 2022 episode.
I do wish Aaron would show us Marx greeting Alan at the Fountain of Souls, as he greeted Walt. Alan was a hero, for all his fear, or because of it.
…
In re-reading the May 9, 2022 episode, I realized I had missed a good Neathery joke. Marx says to Alan, “It’s up to you to ask the questions … I’m all ears.”
Yay! …almost. Hoping the reunion of Wacky and Kirbee works well. I’m also curious what Duffy might say to Chic, after all that Duffy has seen—and after getting so much comfort from Chic’s “ant-haint” charm. Chic will also be happy to see Cole and Phoebe. And then on to the next step of the prevention of everything going kerblooie. Not quite there, yet.
“Only a few hours gone and it feels like years”
There are a lot of great online comics that take a huge amount of real-life time to get the plot through a few complicated weeks. I’ve seen this gag in more than one of them.
With the exception of Wally’s family, it’s unlikely that we will recognize any of the other characters that were dropped off here. My guess is that these folks were carried off from Eden by the “Marx Family”—and we never really met any of the people who lived there. There are only a few “unknown” characters shown, but I’m trying to figure out if they are mostly children-or if any of them are. I’m still trying to guess which of Wally’s family members was supposed to be left behind, before the Marxes shrugged and carried them all away since they couldn’t get Kirbee to let go of Chic.

Do they find a way back to Endtown, or do they go somewhere else?
It would be interesting to go back to Endtown and find that Linda is now head of Security.
Now, how many readers will catch that reference?
