Youâve watched too many roadrunner cartoons Danae & forget that Wile E coyote canât fly, he just crashes with all that garbage the Acme Company sells him!
Actually, she is basically right. Albert Einstein said:
THE HAPPIEST THOUGHT of my life came to me when I was working at the patent office, and as I looked out the window, I noticed a workman falling off the roof of the nearby building. I realized that in the workmanâs mind, in his view, he would feel no gravitational force while accelerating due to gravity. In other words, his falling under the accelerating force of gravity would nullify or cancel his perception of gravity. Thus acceleration and gravity were identical!
You gotta give it to Wiley; he went at it head-on once and got burned. Since then, he learned the lesson of âthereâs more than one way to skin a critterâ real well, and heâs doing just fine.
A fair amount of interesting science fiction has been written with the idea, what if one or more physical constants were different? With some, small changes make big differences.

Even pigs can fly with enough thrust. The landings, however, leave much to be desired.

You forgot the most important part of defying gravity and that is to forget to hit the ground.
Maybe you need someone to distract you just before you make contact. (Thank you Doug Adams)

Not sure about defying gravity but I have certainly experienced weightlessness here on Earth (literally).

Sarcasm is like that. Too much is never enough.

Danae should get a ride on the âvomit cometâ and really experience some zero gravity.
