I had friends who built a house in the country… including a bathroom that had a concrete floor… that they extended up the walls a couple of feet. His intention was to make it easy to clean… with a garden hose.

No decent car wash near me, the only one uses those cloth? flaps to clean the car. So I bought a pressure washer and use my leaf blower to dry the car

I made a pact to never get a leaf blower, and then got one as a gift on Father’s Day. That one time symbol of middle class, suburban banality has now become my favourite yard tool.

Always use your leaf blower on windy days and get one that mimics the sound of an approaching tornado—if you really hate your neighbors!

Earl is an asset. Always has been.

I’m impressed that Opal still goes to the trouble of ironing things.
