The funny thing is that only the less important sites make it ridiculous like that. Banks and credit cards don’t make it so complicated.

While we’re on the subject….I’ve noticed lately that on this site, I often get the “Captcha error” and it takes me several attempts to sign into GoComics – anyone else having this problem?

My ignorance is showing, but I haven’t encountered “2FA” yet…?

And when Brewster finally gets in, the site will tell him his password is too old and he must make a new one. And then he’ll have to start the process all over again, using his new password.

My favorite is when it’s been several months since visiting a site, and you KNOW you’re entering the right password but get the “password incorrect” message.

And yet a hacker will walk right in like it’s child’s play.

There’s a site I have where if you accidentally use the back button, you’re kicked out. You have to use their buttons to move around.

When they started to enforce using passwords to use computers at work, I reasoned that if anyone wanted to cause chaos, now all they would need to do is enter the wrong password three times. I couldn’t convince anyone to change back.

I’m pretty sure the “I’m not a robot” tests are AI generated. By now, humans would have gotten bored and we would have seen “Click every picture showing a nipple.”

Then when he does get in, he’ll forget what he logged in for.

Click on all the pictures that have an idiot in them.

“Would you like the AI to post a better meme for you?”

That’ll keep out hackers…. along with all others.

Did Doctor Mel Practice create that system? And will Pam maim him for doing so?

happens when i try to acces my e-mail anywhere but on my home computer.

Me gots bored with fire hydrants, bridges, buses, motorcycle, and cars. Can’t they not has anytheengs else to shows? And by now all the AI robots musta been trained to identifying all those objects too.

The Internet is secured from it’s authorized users better than they are protected from hackers.
