Someone once said: “The sword is mightier than the (insert weapon name here that you know well what it is but I probably shouldn’t say due to GoComics’ policies).”

In the movie 1776, Ben Franklin used this saying in a more risqué context.

That was a very expensive blood stain they had to clean up before the funeral.

The pen is mighty, especially when connected to a publishing house. But the man holding a pen had best be very polite to the man holding a sword.

I have a Knights of Columbus ceremonial sword. Not sharp enough to slice bread, but it has a sharp point, and I could certainly skewer someone.

Swords can be made sharper than pencils.
