Today’s strip reminds me of an early one from one of the first two collections. Calvin asked Dad why he doesn’t take as long to clean a room as Mom does. Dad replied, “Could be I’m more efficient.” Calvin answered, “Could be you don’t do as thorough a job as Mom does.” Dad replied, “Go bother someone else, Mr Critic!” Calvin held up a large dustball and asked Dad if he could take it to Show and Tell. Dad replied, “Listen, Calvin. This dustball is going to be our little secret, okay?” An out-of-panel Mom was yelling at Dad, “Honey! What is this mess!? I thought you’d cleaned this room!”
Calvin is clearly taking after his Dad where it comes to cleaning.
Poor Arizona George. As Reagan might have said, there he goes again. (Pearls before swine) Today, Calvin seems to bear a strong resemblance to the republican party.
I can really see where all the political commentators are becoming extremely frustrated with the comment ban on political cartoons! I’ll bet Trump is, too!!
Why have all of you feel the need to turn this NON POLICITAL comic polictal? You need to grow up and let us enjoy our comics without all the polictal cr*p!!!!!!!!!!

Don’t know how old this strip is, but Calvin hit the nail on the head. Sadly, nowadays PR is everything.
