You’ll notice that most MAGAts on this forum don’t actually list any of Trump’s supposed good qualities or accomplishments. Instead they resort to irrelevancies like “you’ve all got TDS” or “Joe Biden’s old”. It wasn’t always like this. Some of them actually used to claim that Trump was a good president, with many successes in office (strong military, prison reform, expanded workforce, detestation of immigrants, others). Well, let’s indulge in the fantasy that they were right, that all his goals were worthy and he accomplished them spectacularly well.

Let me respond using an analogy. Suppose you have a wonderful neighbor who helps mow lawns and shovel sidewalks, regularly donates blood, is kind to children and animals, serves as a poll worker, volunteers at a food pantry, is always willing to lend you a tool or help you move stuff, and never fails to buy Girl Scout cookies. Oh, and he also took a meat cleaver to his wife.

Substitute “tried to overthrow the US government” for that meat-cleaver bit, and you’ll understand why there aren’t enuf Girl Scout cookies in the world to redeem Donald Trump.
