Grout scrubbers!

Maybe you keep old toothbrushes around so it can bug people who’s business it isn’t of what you keep or don’t keep. Real pluggers grew up in a country of real freedom and in most cases, you didn’t concern yourself with other people’s storage contents.

Their usefulness is extended for scrubbing around kitchen and bathroom faucets with CLR or Lime-Away. (Just mark them as no longer for dental use!)

Many household items have second uses if you think it through ;-)

Toothbrushes have many different uses, like cleaning the keyboard I’m typing this on. I don’t use old ones, though, because my dentist will give me new brushes any time I ask for them (I brush with a Sonicare).

Good for cleaning jewelry. And grout. And getting behind the water faucets on the sink. And…

I have a couple in the workshop for cleaning small parts. Have to be careful though, because some dissolve in acetone.

For many things.

I threw out a bunch of old teethbreesh a while back.

Have several for small area/corner scrubbing.

Well they is usefuls to cleans some theengs see. Never waste anytheengs we is says.

This thread reminds me of a story I just need to tell. My parents had a can by the telephone with a bunch of old pens, many of which were dried up. My dad would grab a pen to use, and if it wouldn’t write he would utter a cuss word, stick it back in the can, and take another. This went on for years.

Hey, they’re handy for scrubbing something but you only need one, not a bunch!

Cleaning around the kitchen sink cracks. Great for that.

Ditto, they want 10$ for a parts brush get plenty free from dentist

I have to force myself to toss them out.

I keep one old toothbrush at each sink for cleaning day.

Steam the necks. Bend some back and some forward. Clean inside things.

They smoothly distribute wax and shape mustaches.

Don’t forget they are handy for pretreating laundry stains. Ring around the collar be gone!

i keep one in the dishwasher for scrubbing vegetables (it’s sanitized everytime i run it)

essential for getting guck that the sponge can’t reach out of the cat food tins when rinsing them out… ☺
