Amelia’s expression of fiendish and unabashed glee as she is about to be called …

She was hoping for the Sun. Had a bunch of " burn" jokes at the ready.

I would have been interested in how Amelia might have interpreted ‘Uranus’.

But, but, but, Uranus is literally “God of the Heavens.”

Now they say it’s pronounced UR-a-NOOS. Trying to find a way to say it without embarrassment. Why not just change the name?

Wallace is the largest planet while poor Spud is a small one.

So Amelia can be Titan, the only moon with a thick atmosphere. I’d take it.

Actually, a moon joke would be much the same as a Uranus joke.

    C’mon, do it to scale.

The largest solar system drive in the world, I’m told, has the Sun represented by the telescope at Siding Springs observatory in Coonabarabran, from which you can drive to Pluto 200km away (it was a planet when the drive was constructed)

Being named for one of Saturn’s moon would be really rad.

Well, not completely rad, more rad-ish.

Caelus. The next planet is Caelus. Let’s make Uranus use a Roman name like all the other Solar System planets. More uniform that way.

Leaving aside everyone’s obsession with Amelia’s Saturn moon, a lots of other nice details there: Will Henry rocks, Rose is a very practical person (earthly), Spud is with his head on Mars, and Wallace’s character fits Jupiter quite well :)

Amelia is smarter than she lets on if she put herself in position 7 expecting the assignment of planet 7’s name. Mrs. Macintosh should have called her Titan. That’s a Saturn moon, it’s the second-biggest moon in the solar system, and it has a thick atmosphere the color of Amelia’s hair.

Too few planets, way more children.

If Mrs. Macintosh named the moons along the way Amelia could be Io.
