I have to laugh. All the talking about President Biden’s walking or talking seem blind and deaf to trump’s ramp difficulty, creating new words or being totally inarticulate while trying to read from a prompter, and denying all the evil, classless things he has said. Videos don’t always disappear but magas are blind and deaf to them.
I watched the one-on-one interview President Biden had on ABC News. President Biden sounded like a person who was 80 years old, when asked specific questions, he answered them fine, including that he would RESPECT the jury verdict in his son’s trial and WOULD NOT pardon his son if convicted.
In France, Biden rhapsodized about “the story of America” told by the rows of graves at the Normandy America Cemetery: “Nearly 10,000 heroes buried side by side, officers and enlisted, immigrants and native-born, different races, different faiths, but all Americans.”
In Phoenix, Trump, invoked the racist “great replacement” conspiracy theory, saying Biden had orchestrated an “invasion” at the border as part of “a deliberate demolition of our sovereignty” because “they probably think these people are going to be voting.”
Biden hailed NATO, the “greatest military alliance in the history of the world,” and vowed to defend Ukraine: “To bow down to dictators is simply unthinkable. Were we to do that, it means we’d be forgetting what happened here on these hallowed beaches.”
Trump hailed a modern-day tyrant, Hungary’s Viktor Orban (“strong man, very powerful man”), complained about “endless wars” and “delinquent” Europeans, and vowed to “spend our money in our country” — including by “moving thousands of troops, if necessary, currently stationed overseas to our own borders.”
Biden’s speech was an important attempt to rally Europeans, and Americans, against the far-right nationalists who threaten the free world. “Isolationism was not the answer 80 years ago, and it’s not the answer today,” he warned. “The autocrats of the world are watching closely to see what happens in Ukraine, to see if we let this illegal aggression go unchecked. We cannot let that happen. To surrender to bullies, to bow down to dictators, is simply unthinkable.”
The Democrats don’t have a golden ticket for 2024. In 2020,. Initially, I had reservations about Biden’s age and cast my vote for him largely because there was no “none of the above.” I’m happy that he has done a really good job.
The US economy is expanding, with 8.8 million job openings and unemployment consistently below 4% for 18 months. A manufacturing boom, initiated by Biden’s Build Back Better initiative, has resulted in 800,000 new manufacturing jobs and 13.5 million jobs since he assumed office. Small business applications have surged to record highs, exceeding 10 million submissions to the SBA. Additionally, there has been a significant increase in investment in the US manufacturing construction sector, now threefold higher than before, at $180 billion annually. As of April, spending on manufacturing construction, specifically new factories, has reached an annual rate of $189 billion, which is triple the average rate of the 2010s at $63 billion. The stock market has reached its highest peak ever, and interest rates, having peaked at 8%, are now declining.
And, Biden’s State of the Union address, in contrast with Trump’s challenge recalling names and his courtroom napping, demonstrate that concerns about Biden’s age are not as debilitating as those of his opponent.
While I would prefer a younger Biden or a comparably competent younger candidate when you are drowning and can choose a rock or a life preserver, you don’t wait for a boat.
HEY GARY! This comic needs a third guy saying "AT LEAST HE’S NOT A LYING, PORN STAR RAW DOGGING, MONEY LOVING GRIFTER!’ And maybe a 4th guy saying “Yeah”.
Perhaps, Gary should pay attention to Traitor Felon Trump who is literally frothing at the mouth. Something, that belies his health is failing. His mind failed a long time ago.

He’s slipping alright.During his first year in office, Biden completely failed to acknowledge the 77th anniversary of D-Day.The next year, Biden nearly missed the anniversary again and only acknowledged the 78th anniversary of D-Day at 8:45 PM, after reporters noted Biden had yet to acknowledge it.Biden has repeatedly confused when D-Day occurred, including claiming it was “on December the 7th” when the attack on Pearl Harbor occurred.Biden regularly confuses D-Day with January 6.Biden has claimed D-Day took place on a Sunday; in reality, it took place on a Tuesday.Biden has falsely claimed his uncle joined the military the day after D-Day despite service records showing Biden’s uncle was already an enlisted servicemember years prior to D-Day.Joe Biden is a LOSER!
I’m watching President Biden in a news conference right now with Macron in France. He seems very composed and engaged so where’s the demented frail old man the right keeps talking about ? There’s not because they’re making up lies as usual
Biden’s not just slipping mentally, he’s losing control of gastro-intestinal functions at inopportune times. Did you see “Dr Jill” rush him off the stage in Paris? Better hope he made it to “la salle de bain” before his adult diaper began to leak profusely.

These are the GOP criteria for a ‘qualified’ presidential candidate.
