Glad to see Garfield treating her right for a change.Maybe he is turning over a new leaf?More likely he ate all the tuna and just saved some of the water for her.

A toast on tuna, instead of tuna on toast.

Ours lap up all the tuna juice first. They only get tuna a couple of times a year.

Mom would serve her cat and my three tuna water in china saucers. She’d tap the saucer to get their attention. They knew what “ding ding” meant.

Our cat’s a bit of a snob – she’ll only eat tuna that was packed in oil.

And it’s dolphin safe, because this is an environmentally friendly strip.

For a second I actually thought that was champagne they were drinking

One of my cats, same colors & markings as Garfield, passed away yesterday. Don’t know how old he is, but she was 17. Will miss her.

So yes, I add water to the can of Tuna my cat eats every day. It helps hydrate them in this hot weather.

I gave my doggie the smoked kippers juice over her Gravy Train to savor the large chunks of the dry food. Then I followed that with half a can of the smoked kippers and some salmon. I hoped the like it.

Our old cat wouldn’t eat the tuna fish offered but absolutely loved the tuna water we would strain out for him when we were having tuna salad sandwiches.

I guess to a cat, tuna can water is the equivalent of a Chardonnay to a wine connoisseur.

Tuna water is good. So is pickle juice!

It does make a good sauce to pour on their healthier food to get them to eat it.

When we open a can of tuna, we pour the tuna water into lids and present them to the cats.
