Yeah, I’ve never been too fond of celery myself either. However, I did find that there are ways to use celery for fun treats, like dipping them in peanut butter.
What does Garfield care what Jon buys so long as lasagna is one of them. Jon likes celery sticks for snacking. Of course, for Garfield, everything about the house is all about him and his needs. He is a cat, afterall. So long as he is abiding within these walls, he is king. That’s why I like outside cats. They can rule all the yard they want, just not MY house.
Actually, here’s a more salient question for Jon – why would you EVER buy celery in the first place? I looks “silly” and tastes odd and basically serves no gustatory purpose that I know, other than as a somewhat awkward vehicle for dip when you lack potato or corn chips…

I agree with Garfield’s question.

I like celery, I’m not a cook but I like it raw, AND rhubarb which I haven’t had since I stole it from my brothers’ garden a long time ago

To go with the buffalo wings. To shovel the blue cheese dressing.

So you can dress them up again. You remember that is a thing you did, Garfield? You called Jon a cannibal for suggesting to eat them.

A real cat wouldn’t object to celery sticks. They are another fun object to bat around and knock under the table.

I like celery. We just can’t use a whole bag of it before it goes bad, and precut sticks are expensive
