Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
After being retired for just over 3yrs, Iâve lost all the callouses on my hands even though I do yardwork and keep the cars in working order. My wife teases me that now I have princess hands.
We operate on the âchange it if you empty itâ as well as the âput a new roll on the toilet tank if you get the current one to where it will need changing real soonâ system. As a result, Spouse, who uses about 8 to 10 times as much TP as I do changes the rolls about 8 to 10 times as often as I do. And puts out new rolls about 5 times as often. And complains about it. Which is just silly: What, Iâm supposed to actually CHANGE the roll before it runs out??
During my bootcamp in the uscg in â64, if the tp was not placed with the paper in the front and the first tear off seam half way down the front of the roll, we were high porting our M1s around the grinder for an hour.
Funny, todayâs strip appeared in yesterdayâs LA Times and again today. I was going to comment about âdeja vuâ, but then I saw yesterdayâs strip. Poor Roscoe.
One he remembered to do it and two he did it. What a guy! Two thumbs up for that Earl. Doesnât matter if the directions not right, but I be it is. Front and going down.

How much TP stuck to his rough dry hands?

In the next frame, Opal chews him a new one for not hanging the TP the right way.

You tell her Earl set her straight

TP holders; They are real brain teasers to figure out, no screws or knobs.

But sheâs the one who had to turn it around so the paper came out over the top.

One of those under appreciated jobs that nobody notices, until itâs not done.

Thatâs right Opal, other wise you could have beenâŚâŚâŚâŚâŚ.
Stranded,
Stranded,
Stranded on the toilet bowl,
Stranded,
Stranded,
Stranded on the toilet bowl,
What do you do when youâre stranded,
And there ainât nothing on the roll?
To prove youâre a man,
You must wipe it with youâre hand,
Stranded,
Stranded on the toilet bowl.
What do you do when youâre stranded,
And there ainât nothing on the roll?

Iâve known people who worked hard at maintaining their calluses and were quite proud of them.
