This robot with the natural smile, owned a monocle..
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
One day the monocle walks into a bar
After a few drinks he starts to feel pretty good (and a little uncoordinated). He reaches for a cigarette, but the bartender stops him. “Sorry, buddy, but due to city ordinances we don’t allow smoking in here. You’ll have to step outside to smoke.”
So the monocle hops off the barstool and grabs his cigarettes to head outside. Meanwhile a second monocle emerges from the bathroom. They bump into each other as they cross paths and fall to the floor, hopelessly entangled. They try to get free but the more they struggle, the more tangled they become.
The bartender looks down on this travesty and shakes his head. “Hey you two!” he shouts. “Stop making spectacles of yourselves!”
An AI candidate concerns me more. I don’t even like getting Amazon’s AI!Why do robots need to look human? Seems the skin tissue would serve more purpose on humans
Has RBION printed every astounding factoid such that nothing is left to print but the news? “In 2024…” is how too many postings of late have started. C’mon, RBION, there’s still gotta be interesting things we can’t read elsewhere!

AI Steve will never make a successful politician. It still smirks when it makes some of the campaign promises.

Heart? Looks like a fancy sink drain trap.

I think RBION should have waited 4 more months before posting these.

“In 2024, engineers used living skin tissue and humanlike ligaments to give robots a more natural smile.”
…and humans nightmares for weeks.

And in a couple of hundred years, Jean Luc Picard will be grateful to the good folks at Baylor and the Texas Heart Institute.

Living tissue on a robot? Isn’t that what the Terminator was? Beware of SkyNet.

I pledge allegiance to AI of the robotic slaves of America
And to the robotics of which were armed, indestructible, with misery and frustration for all.

Fun fact — ventriloquist Paul Winchell had the patent for the first artificial heart. He held over 30 patents on various inventions.

If a robot ever smiled at me I’d consider it enormously creepy

“engineers used living skin tissue to give robots a more natural smile”
What, are they trying to make a Terminator or something?
