    That body position reminds me of Click Beetles. When I was young, I would find the approx. 3/8”-long beetles and turn them on their backs. After a few seconds, they would flex a hinge on their carapaces that let them spin around right-side-up, making a slight clicking noise. Imagining Opal as a click beetle, doing likewise, is kind of cool. (—

    The idea, Opal, is to get your hips and rear end up in the air – then bicycle! But, considering the age factor, it might be a good idea to exercise the way your trying to.

    In basic training there was an exercise (i.e. punishment) like that. Lay on your back, arms and legs elevated and stay that way until the drill sergeant got tired. They called it the “Dying Cockroach.”
