Mike’s old enough to be in college, his dad’s a dentist, and he still has his wisdom teeth?

Not only are they going to a daddy but also a dentist, so the joke and the tooth can be dealt with at the same time. Please extract them both!!!!!

It’s going to be a looong drive home.

This is the first time Mike has been home since summer. I’m sure Elly will be glad to see he got rid of his facial hair, but will she resent the fact that it was Rhetta, not her, who convinced him to shave? And what of Rhetta? Does Mike still have any feelings for her? Time will tell.

I wonder if Mike will scream as much as Bethany did when he goes to an oral surgeon?

Toothache, lame jokes, and a snow storm …life is good.

Good thing Mike’s dad is a dentist, otherwise that would be a huge bill to have that thing extracted. In the meantime keep putting orajel (sp) on it.

I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed at the hospital when I was 18, I feel Mike’s pain!

The pain in the tooth does not compare to the pain in the pun.

Mine came out in my 20s. They were impacted. Not a fun experience.

Had mine removed when I was in the Navy. Didn’t cost a dime.

My wisdom teeth came out when I was a college Senior over the thanksgiving break. No turkey for me!

I wish my dad was a dentist! It would have saved me about $35,000 over the course of my adulthood. Instead our dentist “invented” cavities that had to be drilled & filled. Then, over the next 30-40 years, fillings had to be replaced, more drilling, then caps, crowns, implants. I hope my old dentist is rotting in hell. All my friends had no cavities as kids or 1, 2. My brother & I always had 10-12. 15, my brother had 20 one year! My parents should have gotten a 2nd opinion, but in the ’60’s, people trusted doctors.

Just yank those suckers out and put them on display

Average is 17 to 21 years of age. I didn’t get my upper teeth taken out until I was almost 30. Lower teeth a few years later. It’s not the same for everyone. They’re usually not taken out until they start causing problems.

Good thing Michael does not have to pay, this is Canada…Oh wait…this is dental, not medical!

Oh well, at least Michael can get it done as soon as possible as opposed to being on a seven month wait list!

If this was animated, can you imagine his voice with that swelled cheek? Michael would sound like he has his tongue in the way!

I remember this arc, and in addition to the bad tooth there’s more pain coming from another direction.Mike’s Christmas will be as Merry as sitting on a cactus
