I voted for one candidate, but rooted for the other on election night. I don’t know why. Maybe I just like chaos which we’re about to get.

If they funded both sides, they’re certain to get kickbacks … one way or the other. Why else would they do that?

Looks as though they ‘invested’ a little more heavily in the one who didn’t win.

Hedging their bets certainly didn’t hurt the chances of the side they didn’t favor?

It’s apparent, they only heavily funded one side, but hedged their bets minimally on the other.

That and only the Repubs can be fully bought out for the minimal price of their soul. They will not be well remembered by history for selling out their country to it’s enemies.

Once upon a long time ago, I supported a candidate for Congress. He got a campaign donation from Boeing. So did his opponent who was the incumbent. Boeing calculated that my friend had a one in ten chance of winning, so he got 1/10 the donation Boeing gave to the other candidate.

Of COURSE businesses play both sides of the street. As a result we have the finest Congress money can buy.

Still wondering why billionaires need a tax break, don’t they already have 99% of all the money? What they all need is a severe beating with baseball bats studded with nails and wrapped in barbed wire then dipped in raw sewage, then made to work a crappy job in one of their lowest paid positions and eat crappy food and live in a $1500 a month cracker box, and take a bus everywhere for LIFE! Greedy money grubbing pieces of crap!

Interesting that a president who claims to champion the Common Man has stacked Federal agencies with a passel of billionaires, committed to tax cuts for those very same billionaires and raise commodity prices through tariffs.

I think this overstates the importance that politics has to most companies out there of all sizes. It’s about money and innovation, the pity party aspect doesn’t really figure in to it ! Happy Thanksgiving !
