Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
I’m thankful that 2024 was only marginally better than 2023 was – but that’s not saying much, considering the 2025 and beyond will be absolute hell on earth.
I’m thankful my dog survived her surgery yesterday. SHE might not be so thankful as she had to have her frontal left leg removed due to an infiltrative lipoma. I know she doesn’t understand it was done to save her life. I am also thankful she quickly learned to walk already. I certainly didn’t except her to walk for quite a while but my veterinarian did say she would right after surgery.
Mrs. Horner carved the turkey into perfect slices. I think after seeing this Puddles loves her even more. It’s nice to see someone be thankful for what they have, too often we hear people who are only capable of complaining without seeing anything but the negative side of everything. I’m thankful for comics and the small, but precious, joy they bring to everyday life.
Come on people! Can’t we leave politics (and religion while we are at it), out of a cartoon comment section. Be thankful. You woke up this morning. Lets start with that. Enjoy the day
I’m thankful that the flickering barrage of Gocomics advertisements make it near impossible to read the ongoing unhinged comments on this page. I just peek now and then to get a glimpse of the insane-o-meter. Counting my blessings.
Hey J, S you really know how to get tons of comments, Congratulations! I’m a Bi-Racial African-American, 78 years old, who ia passionate about America, it’s constitution (swore an oath to it as an attorney), and I’m a retired community college business professor, who is a passionate believer in an ethical capitalism, but who believes in Marxist analysis as an excellent way to point out the inequality of an unethical capitalist economy. Oh and a cradle ROMAN CATHOLIC, who is now a progressive Episcopalian. We really should stick to non-politics or religion, but the fact we can disagree and still mive on as the most successful country ruled by its electorate.
I’m thankful that I’m still alive and that I have work that I love. I’m also thankful for the people who believe that we can still save our country and democracy. Lord knows we’ll need them.
If Mrs. Horner said her age was 92 upon her re-introduction to the strip on 1/18/23, and is 94 now, then it appears she is aging normally while the rest of the cast is not.
The next 4 years won’t gives us much to be thankful for. Was told by a former friend, HE really doesn’t want a Christian country as HE has claimed. HE wants a kingdom and is going to do everything HE can to get it. Any believers in any organized religion is gullable if you pander to their leaning….which HE has done to the Christian community. You’ll see.
Heh. When I was in college or maybe even late high school (late 60s/early 70s) . . . well, we had a dog about the size of Puddles. We were going to have dessert later after a big dinner, so we were all in the living room talking, with the cake on a platter on the kitchen table. (No chairs involved here, either.) Suddenly there was a crash from the direction of the kitchen. The dog (who shall remain nameless here) had managed to jump high enough to grab the edge of the platter with her mouth and pull the whole thing onto the floor.
(She also once burned her mouth pulling a steak off the grill in the back yard. That wasn’t as high up, though. Glad she didn’t pull the whole grill over.)

It’s been a wonderful two weeks, with Mrs. Horner and family harmony. But I suppose, come Monday, it’ll be the same drama and angst at Moony Uni!
