    For many that’s as much a tradition as reading assignments over the weekends.

    [To me, Mrs. Olsen’s ‘whisper’ kinda detracts from her character. Rarely ever see her reacting to a class or to students in general. Although, if she was only referring to Caulfield I could understand it. Sometimes even one’s most outstanding students can be an intermittent pain.]

    Sometimes many students do not fully appreciate school or their teachers until many years into the future when they are adults.

    And judging by recent events, many did their best to forget anything they learned. I can’t count the times I have heard “but I’ll never use that in real life”
