Unlike the “Burnings Arc” school bus driver shortage is a real thing. Just about every district here in NEO is trying to hire more drivers. And a quick search indicates it is not just here. And it is not just getting kids to school and back. Most districts have students involved in extracurricular activities after school that have to be transported. Why Lena won’t drive who knows? Mostly I suppose so Batty can make fun of her.

With a face like that, the kids wold be afraid to get on the bus!

When I was a driver during a shortage, the bus supervisor, the school supervisor, and anyone else with a B-CDL would help drive until replacements could be hired, and trained. So Lena should be driving in my opinion.

Didn’t we “solve” this just a few weeks ago with the whole Amazon storyline? Is this a rerun or is Tom due to transition to “memory care” soon?

Lena wants people to “think outside the box.” Well, they all appear to be standing inside a box at the moment. I suggest they all go outside that box and stand around in the snow until they have an idea. Or freeze to death.
