I wish she’d just shut up!

Tell Opal to go shave her mustache.

Eyebrows don’t need to be trimmed unless they droop down over your eyes like a sheepdog.

Opal’s being low brow.

Hair growing on your ears causes tinnitus. You are actually hearing the hair as it grows!

It could be worse. She could have offered to trim them.

It’s just the price of life. Though I hate my ear hair. It’s weird that it starts growing in your later years. (At least I’m lucky to have later years)

Is Earl an incipient Mentat (‘Dune’ character)? Are his lips stained red with Sapho juice? Is Opal an incipient Bene Gesserit? Where does Roscoe fit in here?

Opal won’t appreciate Earl or stop nagging and criticizing him until he’s gone

This is what happens with two old people who’ve spent their lives with noses the size of casaba melons. So much un-healed trauma.

Every now a then my wife comes up to me and smooths out my eyebrows.

I’m just going to give up and start braiding my ear hair instead of trimming it.

Maybe Earl should respond that she should get the pair of horns growing out of her head clipped.

Way to go, Opal!

Earl is just too good not to mention some of Opal’s “qualities” that need doing. Like her eyebrows (that she doesn’t have anymore) or the wrinkles that come with age. Why can’t she just lay off his looks and take him as he is. But, this is Brian Crane in his cartoon and, I guess, his words are Opals.

If you saw it on the internet, it has to be true.

My husbands’ barber trims his eyebrows. I told him years ago that if I ever saw them get big and bushy like we see on old men, I’d shave them off in the night.He does his own ear trimming.

Needs a good barber.

Humans are basically hairless so we don’t overheat when hunting. What is a few stray hairs.

Not to mention the nose.

Time for Opal to pull out the ol’ tub of bikini wax

Typical wife behavior (from my experience and what my male friends discuss) but don’t you dare say anything remotely bad about the woman, their body, their habits, their hair, their clothes, their shoes, their purses, their………..

To be fair, it isn’t always the fact of the woman pointing it out…….it’s the nasty tone, demeanor, and manor in which they choose to do so.

Isn’t that part of being married to make sure each other is well groomed.

we knew a guy that had what we called “earwigs”… giant tufts of hair sticking out of his ears! lol!
