What seems unfair is that she is giving a D- without even listening to what they play. Now I grant that with Nate’s history she may be right but if given a chance she may have found Nate actually has learned the needed facts and has incorporated them well in the song they play. Creativity has its place in education just as much as rote memorization.

You have to give them credit for imagination. How many others have thought of this? I’d at least give them a listen.
