I keep forgetting – does the groundhog seeing its shadow mean there will be an early spring, or a late spring?

There are actually fireworks. You can catch the livestream on the Visit PA website beginning at 6 am (EST), though Phil won’t do his thing until 7:15. The best part is watching the drunken mob that has gathered. (They’ve been standing outside all night in below-freezing temps, so, yeah, I’d be drinking, too.)

Just wait till they do it again tomorrow, and every day thereafter…

Isn’t it PETA proposing that the groundhog be replaced with a gender-reveal kind of cake? One color means more winter, the other that spring’s coming? Now, I like cake, but that’s just silly.

Our Slovenian tour guide is Paris asked us about the holiday in the US where we celebrate the Weather Weasle.
