Today’s children can use A.I. when they want to invent nonsense words. Adults will never be able to keep up.

From the internet: “Cheugy” is a slang term that describes someone or something that is out of date, basic, or trying too hard. It’s pronounced “chew-gee”.

Don’t ask me. I’m as confused by this slang as you are.

Actually this is nothing more than payback, or karma from when we were young.

I don’t understand why young people can’t talk like adults, but that’s groovy, everything’s mellow. Peace.

Kids build codes to hide what they’re saying from outsiders. It’s mostly irrelevant or about sex, the same as grownups’ language.

Two things I have never heard — I’m so out of it, and I’m so glad.

New slang will replace old slang and the old slang will return to be new slang. It’s gust all slang to me.

I just found out the ‘sick’ was a good thing.

Reminds me of when I was in high school and was about to take an important test. Dad told me that he hoped I would “bomb it”… he didn’t realize that in his 1940s slang “bomb it” meant to do really well (and conquer the challenge), but in that day’s 1970s slang “bomb it” meant to fail badly…

It must be hard for kids to keep up on the current slang when they’re 25 miles up.

In MY day Gag (short for “Gag me with a spoon!”) was a bad thing.
