Iâm completely lost. I know he has been writing this for many years but I joined just a few years ago and Iâm lost. Why canât there be written explanations of what lead to his or what has gone on?
Looks like weâre about to see how the rats do work, and it wonât be pleasant. Iâm guessing weâre going to get into the consequences of artificial people.
Sigh.. another one. Look, we will just have to wait a year or three to find out what happened with Wally and maybe the folks in the boats.

We arrive some time after Waltâs death
For those who might want a quick refresh reading: The Pork Conspiracy startsâ01/02/2017. Or jump to the ratsâ mission statement âWe are securityââ04/05/2018 ; Mavisâs description of how the wolves became patsies âa hated, stigmatized subclassââ05/28/2018; and finally, Groutâs (I like this character) dark forecast âjustice has become a deadly poison hereââ08/31/2018 . Highly recommend reading all the way through, though. In my opinion, some wonderful storytelling. Also note that what we see happening now was foreshadowed years ago.
Welllll Iâm going to hope that Neathery isnât about to take this storyline in the direction I instinctively feared it might go in, heâs a bit of a pessimist but heâs never seemed to be anything worse than that. While the clear jab at antifascism makes me cringe, I suppose the rats arenât technically cops, and due to their conspicuous same-species nature they may not even have elected to take up their jobs in the first place. Theyâve always been jokes before, so taking time to humanize them is a nice new plot thread. All that said, I still canât help but miss when Endtown was more of a story about surviving, than a story about dying. Perhaps itâs just not a comic for me anymore, but I suppose weâll have to wait and see.

A fear Iâm having now is, todayâs politics may be altering Aaronâs story line.
Or maybe just us. I suppose electing a fascist president could have been seen coming at least eight years ago.
At any rate, using the F word (fascist), it looks like Endtown is going to become a commentary on contemporary politics.
Whether Aaron likes it or notâŠ

Ignore the rabble rouser. See to your partner. But keep your weapon handy. 43 years still manning the line.

How amusing , to see that New-Newspeak says âcompetentâ and means âMAGA sycophantâ.
