Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Spouse has apparently begun having conversations with me, all inside her head. And then becomes annoyed when I don’t remember those conversations. This “getting old sh-t” is… getting old.
In the second to last panel, I can see Mrs. Olsen’s Spidey-sense going off. Her Caulfield proximity alert was just a tad late in alerting her, though. Maybe Caulfield has discovered a jamming device!
Just taking a few opinions here. Since actual backgrounds have long vanished from this strip, how much longer do people think that Jef Mallett will overwork himself by putting in those totally unnecessary shaded colors? Indeed, why bother coloring the characters? In fact, why even draw the characters? Just put in the speech balloons, since the whole point of the strip is just snarky wordplay anyway.

Time for Mrs Olsen to explain the difference between rhetorical and math questions to Caulfield.

It’s a “worksheet”, not an “answersheet”. If you don’t show the work, the answers don’t matter.

A Mrs Olsen moment?

Was the a rhetorical question? (It doesn’t require an answer.)
How about a rhetorical answer? It doesn’t require a question.

In the last panel, did Frazz answer a rhetorical question with a rhetorical question? And did I just ask one, too?

Around here, January was not too bad. It was FEBRUARY that was cold.

LOL! I love this one.

The last panel is actually funny. It might be a first for Frazz.

Yep, stepped right back in it.

er . . . um . . . uh What did you just say? [That’s about as short term as one can get.]

Also, Frazz, there’s a difference between “warm” and “less cold.”

It’s not a universal rule, Caulfield.

Ah, there are questions, and then there are 1), 2), 3)… questions.

Very clever. And for once, not too Zen for comprehension by a clod like the undersigned.

Does anyone know if they’re being asked a rhetorical question?
