Just when we need Fred most.

TGTKF. Thank God There’s King Friday.

And that this fair child has élan.

Thank God! The dead goldfish haven’t had a decent meal in ages.

Fred Rogers was a genius!

As long as there is hope. Even if it is a ghost. Just hope.

I can see him putting on his sneakers and cardigan. It was something I never minded waiting through.

This country needs a good analgesic.

Phew! I’m relieved that he’s only talking about Mr. Rogers’ ghost and not what we refer to as “The Incident” that shall go unnamed and unspoken of – even on dark and stormy nights or around the campfire…

If I can keep clam, the neighborhood will be my oyster.

It’s a wonderful day in the neighborhood…..until the bully down the street destroyed our cardboard box hut and stole our codes for street fights.

Looks like the kid got caught playing pocket pool.

Fred Rogers’ ghost drifts ’cross the floor,

Whispers of kindness soothe hands that are sore.

In a bathmat factory, where product is dyed,

His neighborliness heals all workers inside.

Fred Rogers always struck me as the kind of person I’d allow to be with my kid if I weren’t there. He really creeped me out.

The perfect healing balm.

Keep Calm and Rodgers On.

His theme music was keeping me awake…
