Grandchildren would be fun. I wish I didn’t have to wait for my kids to make them.

Well that seems to have gone over well. Arlo just doesn’t seem to know when to stop talking.

When I was 15 I told my Mother that all her grandchildren would have paws. I meant it. No regrets. Love my furbabies.

Is there a huge audience out there besieging Jimmy Johnson with demands for more of this never-ending subplot? If so, please stop!

Arlo is playing, and Janis knows it, thus only the annoyed look on her face.

I love visiting my grandchildren or having them come here, but neither my wife nor I wanted to be fulltime babysitters. I think that’s what’s going to happen to these two.

My granddaughters saved me after my husband died. They allowed me to smile. Have a bonus grandson now and hoping my son and his fiance try for one more! One of the great plusses of life. Love this house solution!!

Definition of a grandchild. It is a child closely related to you, that you get to spoil and then send them home to their parents to deal with.

Grandkids are a lot more fun than kids. And they help out. Ours come over every two weeks to make the beds, which is a big deal. My son used to shovel his grandmother’s driveway and walk and both my kids helped out with shopping and such.

If their decision to move is based upon the grandchild, then they are moving for the wrong reason. Although it’s unlikely, what would happen if Gene and his wife decide to move elsewhere? Are they going to chase (stalk?) the kids wherever they move?

Interestingly enough, as a “male”, Arlow would not see the child as a “deal breaker” the “female” (Janis) however, might since SHE would be the likely all-round baby-sitter auxiliary mother -substitute…

Yeah, Arlo knows the joy of changing loaded diapers! Can’t wait!

Some friends of ours have two girls, so when their first grandson came along, grandma learned the hard way about being careful where the little boy is pointed. When she was telling us in disgusted surprise how the little guy got her right in the face, I almost burst something trying not to laugh! I was a bit surprised that someone our age wouldn’t know better…
