Brutus’ mind didn’t wander, it’s still where he left it, in neutral.

What memory problem?

They call me the wanderer, Yeah, the wanderer, I roam around, around, around, around.. ♫♪♫

My mind wanders all the time too. It has all the fun and the body gets left behind. Waaaaay behind !

I prefer to call it multi-tasking.

My mind has wandered so far that I’m now mindless.

I was born under a wandering star.

At least Thorny does remember one thing while at work…he always remembers lunch break!

Another one that made me LOL! Maybe because I see myself as Thorny in this situation! What was I talking about? ;-)

My mind is just fine. Now what were you saying?

A friend was telling about someone he knew that had amnesia and couldn’t sleep. I said you mean “insomnia” don’t you? “Yeah that’s right,” he said, “he forgot he couldn’t sleep.”

“Gotcha Boss”. I would go with a joke myself and then ask him to give me suggestions on how he thinks l could improve it. However, l would also tell him that l keep so busy that it is easy to miss a thing or two every so often……

Brutus has the attention span of a Squirrel

I wonder where my mind has wandered to.

One of the best hard of hearing jokes:

“This new hearing aid is great! I never miss a sound. I hear better than someone who doesn’t need a hearing aid!”

“Two thirty.”

I’ve often been lost in thought. Unfamiliar territory.

Funny!! The Brutus equivalent of “SQUIRREL!!!!”

This really happened. My former doctor tried to convince me to take a sleeping pill due to my severe insomnia. I tried it, and told him that I felt like it was messing with my memory. He said that was not one of the side effects. I did enjoy getting some sleep, so I continued to take it. Every visit, he would ask me how it was going, and I would say my memory was disappearing. One time he said there were some new side effects listed and asked me if I had any memory problems. I said, “I don’t recall having a memory problem.” He accepted that answer as meaning I didn’t have any issues from it. I just realized, he must have tried it himself.

He kept hearing “Blah, blah, blah”

Maybe its those ‘special’ Gummy Bears Thornapple has during Coffee Break. Proposed 4th panel to the strip: Veeblefeaster to Thornapple; “You have the mind of a 5 year old and I’ll bet he wants it back”.

Need corks for his ears, to keep the air in.
