Which is why instead of buying all of the peanuts books individually, I waited for the Complete Peanuts collection to come out.

In 1994 I bought a Michael Jordan rookie card from a friend at work. Sure wish I had it now!

A few years ago i found a nice copy of Cerebus the Aardvark, Vol. 1… i have yet to collect the others…. shelf space & budget are limiting factors. i have collected such series as Endtown, Strangers in Paradise, The Maxx, Bone, Monster, Berlin, & Octopus Pie… collecting is indeed an obsession, and i have a even more titles on the wantlist. i’m open to suggestions for other titles.

It’s the Lay’s potato chip syndrome; you can’t just have (buy) one.

We bought the 4-volume reprint set of a favorite when I was a kid years ago, “The Boy Mechanic.” We planned to give one volume to each grandson as they got old enough to read, but unfortunately we have two volumes left. Hope we will live long enough to have great-grandsons.

What I really hate is buying a “complete” series and then seeing Vol I.

Can they make YOU go away instead? lol
