Tremendous use of the two-panel format to place us in the lobby at Smith Industries. Mysta looks marvelous, with facial expression and body language revealing her frustration and impatience. She knows something is “off” about this situation. The Space Coupe is visible through the glass, yet Mysta knows she would sense the presence of the Governor. Superior art meets growing tension in our captivating story. Gould was superb at setting the scene and providing a strong sense of place. So too, here. Bravo!
I notice Mysty has a bit of a slant to her eyes now… other than the antennae, she’s beginning to look a bit more alien-ish… but she appears to have a touch of exotic to her features, so it’s a nice start… good show, Charles…
Doesn’t Frankenmindy live and work on the property? She’s been seen previously as a member of Diet’s “security team” so why would she need to stop at the front desk
Mysta seems “flatlined” the way she’s drawn.Gould’s original Moon Maid—-considering that a big complaint was that Tracy only had one facial expression—Moon Maid was a breath of fresh air. “Pixie” "Sprite"> Not afraid to show her emotions.
The only time I ever saw her UNHAPPY was when her tyrant father was screaming at her that he wouldn’t let her marry “the inferior Earthling with the bad haircut”.
1- MYSTA MYSTA: I have an appointment with Mr. Doit…wait. I need you to validate my parking before I forget…where’d I put the ticket…? RECEPTIONIST: So you’re Eazy Ridin, his one o’clock “massage therapist”? MYSTA MYSTA: Huh? No… RECEPTIONIST: I have to frisk you first…
2- MYSTA MYSTA:GRRRR! She ALWAYS mistakes me for Easy Ridin AND she ALWAYS frisks me – with an undue amount of attention being spent “down there"HURRY UP, WOULD YA?!?
RECEPTIONIST: HELLO! hello hello hello! I just love the echo!
WAYYYYYY OFF TOPIC: I got a proof copy of the paperback for MORABU (the second entry of my OTHERWORLD fantasy series) in the mail today. I had no idea it would be three inches thick and weigh a ton. I honestly figured someone had gotten a hold of an Amazon mailer and sent me a brick as a gag. Of that it had been packed in a box inside the mailer. It’s insane for a paperback to be this huge.

As I stipulated, something is “jamming” her antennae.

What did Chucky do to our favorite Mad Mindy?
By now, she should have zapped the receptionist and barged into Diet’s office.
This new Mad Mindy is kinda lame!

I wonder if the weaponised ring will come into play in this story?

I just hope Mysta doesn’t go all-out Ms. Duivel on that receptionist.

Good morning™, all!.
Mysta has her own version of that “Spidey sense” that Spider-Man has and she would know right away if the Governor were really there.
She’s trying to figure just what’s amiss as she waits for Diet to be available, but she does know that something is amìss.

I notice that Mysty is wardrobed in some fashionable gladrags…
THAT is the way that LIZZ should be depicted and portrayed as, a glamorous and stylish honey…
so why can’t Lizz have what Mysty has?…

You mean “if he were here.” I like the coloring today; sort of a noirish feel.

Wasn’t Ro-zann the bad guy a couple of years ago? I thought the Moon governor had him imprisoned. Unless my guess is wrong.

What worries me is the third book is even longer.
