Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your

and Dick delegates duties while he stretches out and has a bit of a relax…
though it IS good to see that the entire unit is on the job and not restricted to certain members of the team while others are unexplainably missing in action…
I WILL give EOC credit for THAT by utilizing the entire MCU…
Hold the batphone ! What is going on here? What has the unnamed female detective from Homicide Division been doing? – having a pot of coffee with the useless obese female City Mayor that Tracy / MCU / Chief Patton has to put up with? You would believe / think in a rational world that the first thing a Homicide detective would do is check the corpse’s fingerprints to see if they are on file. The fingerprint information should already be in Tracy’s hands – positive result or negative result.
“D@mn it, we might actually have to work on this. The incompetent coroner who is p1ssed off at what appears to be a college prank convinced the Chief to have us take this rather than a serious crime. Sam – do the job of homicide and the coroner. Lee – talk to the guy who gave us the report on the attempted body snatching and see if his story has changed. Me? I’ll have another cup of coffee with the “medicine” I keep in the bottom drawer and wait for a coincidence or my ESP to solve this."
“Have we ever figured out why homicide isn’t considered a major crime here?” asked Sam.
“Shut up,” Liz scolded softly. “Start making sense and it will raise reader expectations.”
“We’d need a shovel and start digging if we needed reader expectations to get any lower,” Lee confirmed.
I’m not complaining…this is light years better than the last story we were treated too. Now, I’m holding on to my options, incase things go south, but so far this has been a pleasant and interesting story. Hope we can get a little action going soon…
“The rest of you need to get busy with your online gaming and Lotto. We’re going to spend several weeks going over your results. Sam, are you going to eat that sandwich? I made it special just for you.”
OT: I was reading about the death of Gene Hackman. They found his body, along with his wife and dog all dead in the house. The dog was locked in the bathroom closet. The wife was found in the bathroom on the floor with pills spilled all over the floor. Both Hackman and his wife had been dead long enough that their bodies had begun to mummify.
It is all pretty grisly and it occurs to me that it is so weird, gruesome, and ghastly that it reminded me of a Chester Gould plot. Gould often did stories somewhat based on real cases. Gould developed friendships with a lot of real cops and received many of his police methods and ideas from them.

Wouldn’t the Homicide detail already have done all of this already? I’d presume that the MCS isn’t the only divison at the Tracyville PD isn’t the only one to display compentence.

Good morning™, Task Delegators !
Love These Top-Down views. Lee looks just right. I can almost see her looking like her alter ego, when working for Bribery.
Like !
