Once the wife and I were stuck in traffic near a KFC. A chicken walked across the road to KFC. We could not contain our laughter for good five minutes. We decided the chicken was despondent and decided to end it all.
One of the best of this skein showed a frustrated motorcycle cop about to give a chicken a ticket. Cop said, OK! OK! I’ll tear up the ticket if you’ll just tell me WHY you crossed the road!!
Just wondering if this is the first time Thaves incorporated a photographic element into the strip. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not the first time, but I can’t recall earlier uses.
I read this strip in our local newspaper, but it’s in black and white. The background today intrigued me, so I came here to the website to see if it was in color. Very nice. The background is very pretty!

No matter where you’re at, you likely won’t be satisfied with your salary: The pay is always greener on the other side of the road.

I yearn for the day when chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned.

The grass is always greener on the other side of the road. Greener grass means more worms, etc.
