TJ is wearing the same clothes as Saturday. Ann is dressed in green today, but she had on some blue/black patterned thing on Sat. I know girls change clothes more than guys do, but between sentences? LOL

As awesome as it is to finally have some interaction between TJ and the Awful Eyeful, I can’t help but question why TJ would WANT to work at Weenie-World under the tyrannical rule of the Boss from He**.

Is he running out of money? Even if he is, couldn’t someone with his cooking skills get a better job? He’s not even going to be cooking anything. He’ll just be cleaning up after people (although I have a feeling Ann’s going to “promote” him soon).

This has GOT to be a TJ scheme. He’s only working there to collect evidence against Ann Eyeful. Whatever TJ’s doing there, we’re in for some fun!

Just one more thing before I go: isn’t that the same form Eifel tried to get Brad to sign. I have a feeling that if TJ signs THAT form, his job’s going to be a lot more difficult than he had planned.

Well looks like TJ likes them forceful and with incredibly low standards. Also looks like Greg’s not to willing to stop drawing Ann into this strip, unfortunately for the rest of us.

Yes, but the battalion commander was taking his sister. The captain might be gay; he might not be. Maybe he just has a friend who always wanted to see what a firefighters’ ball was like. Or maybe TJ’s real first name is Tony, and he is the Captain’s secret lover.

I wasn’t aware that a 14 year old could work at a fast food resturant. I don’t know what TJ is up to. Maybe he is noticing just how yummie Ann might be. As he is unattached, it could be the fringe benefits he is after.

Do you ever notice that most non-hetero males are gorgeous? And that women tend to gravitate towards them willingly? And that they tend to fit into the corporate world and make tons of cash? Hmmm no wonder heteroes tend to be so jealous of them and put them down.

TJ seems to have something up his sleeve…perhaps to show up Ms. Eiffel for who she actually is…a despicable employer. I wish him luck. There are just too many bosses out there like her.

I think Ann has met her match with TJ. His schemes are nutty, but I have faith in him. He lives a charmed life.

I get the feeling that TJ is slick enough for Ann but a good way to keep her around for a while.

We’ve got a real battle of wits going on here.

I don’t think this pair will be much of an issue but I think there will be some residual effects with TJ’s relationship with Brad. I think his mind will be filled with garbage that will certainly come out at the most inconvenience time.

I think TJ is actually the secret owner of WeenieWorld and is playing undercover boss. That is probably why he doesn’t have to work. He probably inherited it when his parents died. He will then put Ms.Eiffel in her place. Sounds good.

IF there are any HR people out there and have been following this line, you know hat Eyeful can be in a lot of trouble with corporate if anybody ever complained or if they found out what she’s done.

What’s that TV show about the boss taking a job and working there in secret? Remember, we still don’t know where TJ gets his money! muahahahaha.

I think all the “anti-TJ” folks will be shocked and surprised… because what I think will happen is that TJ will be resposible for exposing Eiffel’s underhanded ways in a smart, cohesive, enjoyable fashion. I like Hugh Manatee’s notion about this becoming an “Undercover Boss” sort of experience, where TJ by familial ownership of WW roots out the Eiffel problem. I believe this arc will show how smart and good a character TJ actually is.

The mongoose is a weasel. So is the wolverine, skunk, mink, ferret, otter, and a bunch of others, family Mustelidae.

Just wait until TJ helps her close up some night and finds her dressed in black leather and carrying a whip.

I agree with others who think this should be good. I’m optimistic that we will be rewarded for enduring the gruesome ordeal that was the WW-Brad-Toni arc.

In panel 2, TJ is clearly just spinning a yarn. He didn’t work at Micky D’s when he was 14. AE knows it, he knows that she knows. And the only thing sinister about the piece of paper is the WW logo. Panel 3 is however evocative of “making a deal with the Devil” stories. These often are humorous tales of tricksters who manage to cheat the Devil.

Huh. Just noticed my post about the captain being gay got erased. No, I don’t think TJ is the captain’s gay lover. I remember the strip. But i don’t remember when it ran. It wasn’t just spelled out. It was one of those ambiguous “oh, you mean he’s… Oh. Oh!” kind of exchanges.

hard to pay attention to the strip when there is an ad from the ASPCA on the right with the cutest kitten on earth. Geeze, now my wife wants to go adopt another cat. Brad’s ex-boss is a kitten with a whip. (reference to old Ann Margaret movie for you youngsters out there)

Can’t believe this comic strip will take legal revenge on Ann. I hope TJ will break this filly in a way that brings out the woman in her and melts her frozen little heart. The spirits did it for Scrooge, in The Christmas Carol. Ah, but I don’t think TJ is that caring of another person, he’s in it for the thrill of the hunt.

This is actually a perfect match. A scheming conniving woman, and a scheming conniving man in a business/dating relationship. Either this is going to be great for TJ, or he’s going to find out just how bad it really was. If it weren’t for the fact that TJ always has that mischievious grin, I’d think he was plotting revenge on Miss Eiffel for what she put his pal Brad through.

Exactly what I predicted !!! TJ gets the job… the hit will come soon.

The two sleeziest characters in the strip just paired up. Will they fall in love? After all, every other character has been paired up except TJ and Delta. This could become very interesting, especially if TJ’s plan involves more than merely trying to get revenge for Brad. Maybe we’ll finally get to find out where TJ really gets his money from? He never misses his rent and obviously has cash to spare (obtained legal-ish-ly), and has great culinary skills. I always figured he was a chef. So WW would be a big step down for him. On the other hand, he may be such a whiz in the kitchen he turns WW into a nationally-famous gourmet restaurant. But then will Ann try to take credit, or will corporate WW make him Ann’s replacement or higher?

@Dayville, I’ve noticed the wall changes, thinking about how light changes the look, but today’s colors, that’s just WRONG!

Way too much to comment on; my kids helped out when I did fast food and they were preteen (loading the potato peeler and getting a helping of fries. I worked and did what I could for 1/2 days and we had great foods- I peeled potatoes and soaked them overnight, mornings chopped onions, sliced tomatoes and pickles-did everything including the design of flyers. We had the best fast food place in town and I was proud to work there while I did. I have even tried to get my youngest son (professional surveyor) to join me in doing a gourmet food truck. We are both in construction related work (non available) so I know my yummy Cuban foods could make a splash here on the streets of Phoenix.

These two are going to make a great couple. Both horn doggin around and both slightly morally corrupt. I think though that one or both of them may get hurt.

This has disaster written all over it.

I would say, evenly matched. Or, somebody is going to get the same sensation that one gets from a misapplication of a zipper….won’t say who ….

To the young men reading this strip, and thinking someone like Ann might be fun to play with in real life. Yep. You’re right. But you die after it’s over. Not necessarily a literal death, either … I’m telling you what’s being put down, you better pick up on it.
