You know what would be hilarious? If Quill was a troll and was trying to lead Luann on.

I have a friend who used to call me at all hours of the night about trivial things, that he thought were Earth shaking events. I finally had to lay down the law on him!

And then said Evans to Leviticus:

Actually, I kinda called it, now that I think about it. I said Luann would brag to her friends about being serenaded.

Admittedly, I didn’t think she was stupid enough to brag about it at 5 in the morning.

well, it is better than getting a phone call at 2 am, because the caller is calling from japan and it is 4 pm over there.

I like the second frame. My daughter also has said complete sentences that sound like one unintellegable word. Not because she is excited, though. Just because she doesn’t care if I understand her or not.

Still a giggily boyfriend/girlfriend thing with Luann and Quill. Both are way to young for serious love. Lots of growing up to do yet and that is just fine.

Two observations: When Luann calls Delta at 5:25, Delta will already be up; Apparently, Luann has been up all night, meaning that she will be especially dragging in school.

That’s why I turn my phone off before I go to bed.

Luann is such a teenager. Always call your BFF with the over the top exciting news. No matter the time.

If anyone called me at 5:17AM, they better be ready to explain why they called so early like there is a death in the family, someone is in the hospital or someone had a baby, etc.

Last week, someone called at 4am… woke up everyone in the house…. then hung up before anyone could answer

I would love to sleep in until 5:17 a.m. Just once…

Shouldn’t that be BBBBB? Bring Back Bernice’s Brother, Ben. I have friends in Australia and New Zealand and it is very hard to do Skype calls b/c of the time diff( 16-18 hrs most times) * pouting* . Maybe Quill will come back to the states next semester for college, either living in L.A. w/his uncle or going to Pitts Junior College. While life may be the pitts sometimes, i am happy for now that L & Q are a peachy keen pear…. yes I meant to spell it that way and no cracks about fruit please — that would be udderly ridiculous, you cow.

I was just as happy when my lover wanted me to learn a song to do a love duet with him (and yes, we can still “sing” even in our 70s)

So LuAnne’s on this huge emotional high (so typical of first love) and Quill is conveniently remote, all the way across the planet. For a man who’s terrified of any commitment (I don’t know if Quill is or not), this is the perfect setup and pure torture for LuAnne.

Yeah – -glad Bernice is back, and during the week, too. :-) This is cute..and so very life like..we like Bernice. Welove and relate to Luann. She is 16. I remember whatit was like when my daughter was 16.

Bernice is LuAnn’s bestie. :) Who else but your BFF can you call at 5:17AM and be the giggly little school girl about your boyfirend, 6,000 miles away? :)
