Hmmm. Now last semester, Tara was Luann’s lab partner and seat mate. This semester it looks like Jack will be Lu’s “partner.” I wonder what Tara will think about being ‘replaced?’

Or will Tara even notice?

I’m glad I wasn’t drinking when I read this one. Either I would be mopping up the desk or choking on a fluid.

Tara must be reading the comments posted here. Like so many who post here, she thinks any conversation between Luann and Jack is only about starting a relationship. Couldn’t possibly be about something ordinary and everyday, like, oh, school or a job…

A couple of weeks ago, it was “The Odd Couple”, this week it looks like it’s going to be “Three’s Company”.

I figured Tara would be thrown in this episode. Unlike Tiffany, Tara sounds like she isn’t into competing for Jack.

This Luann/Jack “friends or more” arc is being pressed hard from several characters. All females. Tiffany, then Bernice, now Tara. I wonder when Gunther or Les will make an appearance… or Nil even?

P.S. Sounds like Tara is fresh from a late night viewing of 50 Or So Shades.

Nice to see Tara. Wonder what Jack might think? Could he and Tara have chemistry? If so how will that impact Luann? What would it have for their friendship? So many levels. I am willing to bet there will not be any kind of romantic issue here, Tara won’t care, but will be friendly, and Luann will be not sure of what she is feeling, until she is. As I always say, we will see.

I have to add one thing Greg and Karen: this is sooo funny. Belly laugh time. Timing is so good. Now back to trying to figure out where the puffinstuff this goes next.

That would be a weird date, but then… it’s Zack. I bet Tara will be all over Zack too like Tiffany was. Wake up Luann, you’re WAY in the friend zone. They would make a cute couple.

So, with Tara showing up…. what is next?

1. Does Jack have a Pavlovian response to Tara and begins to fawn all over her so the “Luann jealousy” story is presented in another context? (my hope is…. NO)

2. Does Tara join Jack and Luann as Chemistry Lab partners? It could be they work in groups of four instead of pairs in this lab. (my hope is… YES because it would be fun and perhaps Greg will add even another character to make it a group of four)

3. Does either Luann or Jack catch the innuendo behind Tara’s date comment and become embarrassed? It seems easy to infer that Tara heard mention of the chemistry apparati Jack stated… and is suggesting some more “wild date” use for them. (my suspicion is… NO because I think Greg likes to keep the “innuendo” humor more vague and not positively affirmed)

4. Will the Pitt CC Chemistry Lab arc end tomorrow and a new topic begins on Monday? (my suspicion is… NO because of Tara being introduced on Friday, I suspect all of next week will further be fleshed out in the chemistry laboratory)

Of course we will see Luann deny there’s a date; Tara signal interest in Jack; or Jack signal interest in Tara; and Luann’s emergency lights start flashing…

Wonder if Nil will also wander in.

Has Tara ever shown interest in any guy? Weren’t her visions from the Sunday comic more attuned to activities that are more often than not something guys would do? Alligator wrestling? Not that there’s anything wrong with that…

Is Tara just casually passing through, or is she enrolled in the chem class too? If so, she ought to read the chalk(or dry-erase)board! I guess chatting up Luann is easier and more friendly, though….

Where’s Waldo? I have the answer. Pippi Longstocking found him, and Tara is their illegitimate love child.
