Cherished memories are often made in-between and among boring chores.

Hard to believe I came here, eagerly awaiting that resolution, knowing it would not be here.

Does texting not exist in the Luanniverse? Because if I want to know what a caller wants I just ask them to text me the info.

I have to agree with TJ this time around.

It’s sad when a son doesn’t want to come home and untangle his father’s wads.

I never duck my dad’s calls…. then again he’s been dead for years so I wish I could do things like this with him.

We’re already into Xmas lights? Tiffany hasn’t even eaten a Thanksgiving meal.

Now is the time to commandeer, uh I mean volunteer TJ to go with you, Brad.

Yet, somehow , even inanimate objects seem possessed

Someday Dad won’t be calling for help with little things, and you may regret not doing them now.

No one got hurt, but T.J. is going to get hurt.

Make TJ go with you to help, if your plans are going to be changed so are his. You could also tell dad no you are not doing that, you made other plans. If he wants to do this he can or wait until you are not busy. I have to tell her this on a regular basis.

Okay. I have to ask. And I’m not trying to start a riot here, but please, hear Me out.

Old Smiley moved in with Brad back in 2007. That’s what? 12 years going on 13? Isn’t about time the “Mini-Joker” found HIS OWN PLACE?

I mean the guy’s got his own business, being part owner/manager of the Fuse. He’s not married and or/supporting kids. He’s an expert in up-selling if you remember when he worked at Weenie World. He is a serious dedicated manager. We know that from the way he manages one of his employees, Tiffany, at Kafe Kablooie. So he doesn’t seem to be hurting for money, and he should have a tidy stack of cash.

So why is he still living with Brad and Toni? And before anyone starts, remember. Smiley was expecting Brad to move out of the Horner house and live with Toni in her smaller apartment, after they got married. So he’s not afraid of living alone.

So why is he STILL here? Oh, and Gooey sentimental answers and the fact that Smiley can cook, don’t count! ;)

Friends are SO helpful

The day will come when you’ll wish you still had a father to bother you about the Christmas lights, and when you’d give anything for just one more phone call from him. Go help your dad, and stop complaining.

Have TJ help you.

As more than one has pointed out, one day that number won’t ever call again. Answer it every chance you get because one day you’ll give everything and anything you own to hear the voice at the other end.

Yes, it would be somewhat satisfying to see T.J. tomorrow with a black eye.

One of the local closed-top gutter replacement ads places say that they will hang permanent Christmas lights up during installation. So, no more going up those scary ladders. Yeah.

Even before 10 this Sunday AM, I got 3 calls from India telling me my Microsoft license was about to expire, so I ‘pressed one’ and in my best Hindi (Apu of the Simpsons) accent, described to her a method as to how she could reduce her country’s population by >klik!< (dial tone)

Brad’s phone ringing followed Tiffany calling for help. I wondered about that for a nanosecond – but since Brad no longer lives with the DeGroots – Tiff wouldn’t be calling there.

Taking a time out from Tiff’s tuff times to check up on characters currently on the back burner. Kind of like the seventh inning stretch.

If it’s an emergency, he’ll send an accompanying text. Gotta love the 21st century for some things.

So glad my household doesn’t have to deal with that….

TJ, my dad wanted to know if you’d come over to hang the Christmas lights; and mom wanted to know if you’d cook an 8-course dinner this year.

Hey all those judgmental TJ haters, what do you have to say now? He seems more responsible here now, although there may be a little teasing between friends here. As MD outlined above, for a Luannverse character he is complicated, but has become a responsible person in many respects, and has been really good for Brad and Toni. He cares, and that seems to have made him a better person. Sort of what gives me hope for Les, and by extension, Tiffany. Luannverse to her rescue.

We have discovered a lovely invention at the hardware store. It is a plastic wheel that you can wrap the lights on, and tangling is kept to a minimum. I get on the ladder and string the lights, and my hubby unwinds the string for me. (Legally blind—not about to let HIM climb a ladder!

these statements (about no one getting hurt) seem foreboding given the previous plot we have been following.

At least no one got hurt, you hideous weasel! You were thinking the same thing, no doubt, when you set your food truck on fire for the insurance money! Maybe you should burn something else so you can move out of this house and never have to see ol’ pig-nose again!

As someone who just recently lost his dad, you’d regret not helping out with whatever seemingly insignificant things later on. Enjoy spending time with your dad while you can Brad! Even if it’s something trite like untangling Christmas lights, at least you get to hang out with dad.
