If we needed any proof that someone got the job only because she is one of the owners, look no further than the amateur bartender inventing drinks no one wants to drink.

If she’s going to spend the rest of the week trying drinks out on her husband, she’d better call him a ride home.

So Frank, will you be having another?

Maybe Frank is ready for a stronger drink that will offset a “tart” concoction.

Maybe she should add a little sugar.

Love how Frank is portrayed in the last frame! It’s not often Greg gives in to outright silliness in his drawing!

Fun to see Nancy use Frank as a guinea pig for her experiments. I wonder if the crew of The Fuse will also try her experimental drinks. I love this new situation between Frank and Nancy. It could be a real improvement in their social life.

HE!, and I am using the acronym so that certain people don’t get their skivvies in a knot (lol). I want to know where the story is going though, just an extension of a Sunday foible, or really a significant development, which will have ripples affecting so many other interconnected stories? I think the ripple effect actually, and I am looking forward to its slow and steady progress.

Nancy is looking real hot lately.And I have no idea why I am seeing her this way.Or is it the older hot woman at the bar thing going on.

Maybe it needs vodka? Not many patrons there. Slow time is when bartenders get creative. We had one that was a genius at creating new and tasty drinks. There were several of us game to try them, although I prefer white wine! ;-o

When you’re new job requires working with a bunch of drunks, and it’s a “blast”, doesn’t say much for your old job.

All this needs to do is “go viral” and some “influencer” convinces people that Sucker Punch is the latest, greatest thing, and all of The Fuse’s financial woes are over! Lines of hipsters going out the door!

that wasn’t just a splash of lemon, more like a glug glug (not unlike that whole bottle of pepper which Luann dumped into her stew). looks like we ’re all living and learning.

All good bartenders need to know jokes, so:

Hey, Nancy! Have you heard this one?

Julius Caesar walks into a bar and says, “I’ll have a Martinus.”

The bartender gives him a puzzled look and asks, “Don’t you mean a Martini?”

“Look,” Caesar replies, “If I wanted a double, I’d have asked for it!” Ba Dum Tssss…

And now we know what Frank will look like in thirty years.

Crushed lime lollipops? Well I did have a drink once with Jose Cuervo, something else and gummy bears in it. I’m not a mixed drink guy (straight vodka) but I asked for another one. Can’t resist gummy bears.

Annndddd, Nancy’s next drink for Frank to test starts with 16 ounces of Everclear…

Some people may find this funny, but Frank is having a serious reaction to the citric acid – it’s a condition called “Acidosis” and it affect middle-aged folks when presented with too much lemon juice. We should all be concerned for Frank!

I used to tend bar, and causing someone to QUEEK like that was highly discouraged

One thing’s for sure… No one is going to get drunk from that.
