I was pulling for Ox and Tiff to get closer, but stuff like this makes be wonder if he’s even smart enough for her. =/

I think this is dragging on unnecessarily, while Tiffany is lying on the floor probably with a lot of bruises and shock. Let’s see if they arrive at the mansion by Saturday.

And Tiffany would have lived if only they had called 9-1-1.

She’ll be standing by the front door, bruised and tapping her foot and will say “What took you so long!?”

These things work the same way as the click bait on Facebook. You have to stretch them out so you can run it over a weekend.

Ox, ignore Les. You know where. You just left there. You don’t need directions. You need to stand up for yourself and say “Les, I’ve been there before. I got to The Fuse from Tiffany’s a few minutes ago when she called. I don’t need GPS. Now shut up and let me drive!”

Ox what are you doing you have been to Tiff place numerous times.

Les seems to have changed into a clean apron for the trip.

Les has been his own worst enemy, but maybe others are about to get on board.

When they finally arrive, Mr. Farrell will be sitting on a stair with Tiffany, holding a cup of hot chocolate for her and making sure that she is holding that coldpack securely against her head.

It appears to me that this strip has a long way to go if it hopes ever to rehabilitate Les the liability, Les the loser, Les the lacking of any helpful social character, …. Meanwhile, his primary function seems to be to add to the readers’ suspense and irritation.

BOTH of these “heroes” have been to Tiff’s house (“Which is only a mile away from the Fuse, according to Oxford) MULTIPLE times, and now, they are LOST???

See? Tiff SHOULD have called Gunther!

At least he didn’t get “lost” until he was actually IN the darn house!!

And Gunny would have STILL called every Fire Department in the tri-state area, to be there FIRST!

Plus, Bet would have INSISTED on coming and she knows the layout of that house backwards!

This ain’t looking good.

Last similar news story I read had a fella at night following a GPS map in a rural area and drove off a high ledge into a creek and died, the map showing a bridge crossing the creek that had been washed out years before.

By the time they get to the Manse, Tiffany will have lapsed into a coma.

They’ll probably get to the mansion to find a supremely annoyed and sore Tiffany sitting in the kitchen holding an ice bag to her neck and glaring at them.

Ox, just push him out of the truck and drive to the Manse in the right direction.

Seems to be a lot of “filler” and no real substance to the story so far. I guess that this annoyance is supposed to be suspenseful?

Betcha every resident of that cul-de-sac calls police, and they’ll both be cooling their heels in jail!!

But, hopefully, the cops will send paramedics to the Manse and rescue Tiff.

Oh FFS, G&K…. We’re all pretty sure that these guys know exactly where Tiffany lives and don’t need directions….. Cripes…

Les…, shut up! This reminds me how many times I’ve gotten lost somewhere when I’m in a hurry and the panic of being late goes up more and more.

Sometimes you can’t always depend on a GPS system…

First time I used GPS, it stated go directy ahead. Directly ahead was a German WII railway gun weighing about 50 tons or more.

Both of them have been to the Mansion and should know the streets without a GPS, just some extra drama to stretch out this Arc.

They’ll get there, this is all part of the hilarity ensues. Remember the scene when Tara’s cousin ran her over? Luann and Bernice were similarly shocked and momentarily confused. I take it to show how upset Les is for their friend. I think she will be okay, although she appearss really hurt, and an intruder might be there, but I doubt it

Don’t worry Tiffany, Ox will be there soon!

My guess is there is no intruder. They will find a baseball, golf ball or some other object when they go back upstairs.

Evidently, neither Les nor his GPS knows these streets. Let Ox do it.

I can just picture Alice and Dill watching the car go by …. man, they really took a wrong turn! :-/

So I’m always noticing the inconsistencies that we put up with comic strips. 1 – How is it that a MANSION in a upscale neighborhood is within a short mile of a sandwich shop? Maybe it’s located near the University? Still, it seems unlikely for a house and area like that to be so close to commercial developments. 2- How is it that both of these guys went to using a GPS for directions after being at the mansion over and over when they were moving stuff back and forth? They should be able to drive there with their eyes shut. 3- When did Ox become Les’ toady? There was a chance for him to become a take charge guy that would deserve a girl like Tiffany, but he just went back to being the big dumb-dumb he’s always been.

The perfect conclusion would be that Gunther had a premonition that Tiffany needed help (proving they belong together) and he’s already arrived at the house and called 911 .

Perhaps we should give this “dynamic duo” the couples/group name of * “Lox” *…

1. They ARE acting like fish out of water at the moment (chaotic).

2. They both leave me feeling rather “salty” (and also annoyed) currently.

The good thing about this is that all the people who were rooting for Ox and Tiffany to get together are having serious second thoughts now!

I know mighty Oxford is basically a peaceful soul, but I would approve heartily if he stopped the car, dragged Leslie out, beat him to a pulp, and left his remains by the side of the road as he resumed course to rescue poor Tiff, still lying there, and bent in the wrong ways, at the foot of the stairs in Farrell Mansion….

I didn’t think of this during the comments about Les’ apron. My suggestion for the present would be to stuff it into Les’ mouth. Wouldn’t even have to stop to take it off. Then I vote for Brdshtt’s suggestion of using it as a tourniquet around Les’ neck. Ox is foolish to listen to Les, but I’m still more irritated with Les. “Concern” for a friend is no reason to bully a more passive person. (I just don’t like Les, lol).

I suspect whatshisname again -oh, Les – is an insider here.
