Ned: What's with all the dents in the bar top? Man: Collateral damage from TV last night. Ned: Ah...rowdy, beer glass slamming football fans, eh? Man: No...worse. Ned: Oh......people slamming their heads in despair watching the debate? Man: This election is going to cause more concussions than the NFL.

And, if they keep their word, a mass exodus of so called ‘personalities’.

Most of them will stay. But isn’t it better to stay and fight than run? Isn’t our country worth sticking around for?

I love how with the two candidates we have, it was almost certain this would be relevant, even though it was probably written weeks ago.

This ’toon was undoubtedly drawn before the actual debate took kplace, and Wiley is now the leading candidate for Nostradamus of the 21st Century.

The debate was about what I expected, and banging my head on something would have brought no relief. I think the moderator felt like it at times, though.

If either one wins the election we’re expecting a run of refugees here in Canuckistan at your northern border

They’re like two sides of the same coin, arguing over who’s going to destroy the country sooner. #letgarydebate

In the old days you had to pass intelligence tests to vote; I think today they should bring it back not only for the voters, but also for the candidates….

I am tickled by Gary’s ideas. Let Hillary and Trump fight it out. The libertarians are aiming for the stars!

I called an old buddy last night in Arizona, after the debate. He owns a sports bar but had dedicated a side room for folks wanted to watch the debacle.
One of the “gimmicks” at his bar are sponge rubber “bricks” that can be hurled at the television sets by irate fans – a throw back ( pun intended ) to the Howard Cosel Monday Night Football days.
He said that the bricks got more of a workout in the "political sports arena " last night, then on the Falcons-Saints game.
Oh, those bricks aren’t free. It costs you 25 cents a throw ! The brick money goes to the charity of the week. Children’s Hospital made a lot of money last night !

Why would anybody bother watching the debate? I can’t say I know even one person who’s still “undecided” at this point. What value is there in watching a debate when your mind’s already made up?

Got that right!! No matter who wins, we are ALL losers. This is one time that if you DON’T vote you absolutely CANNOT be blamed for what happens. If George Carlin were still here, he would be having a bloody field day.
Elisabunny about 8 years ago
Those who don’t vote absolutely can be blamed, for not doing anything to try to stop this trainwreck. If all the people who claim to despise both candidates actually voted for a third party, we might get some real change,

Told the wife I couldn’t watch but took two Xanax and did. Blood pressure was 200/90. I was surprised that Hillery would admit being a raciest and bigot. So everyone, be they black, white, brown, yellow and chartreuse, is raciest (everyone hates everyone else)? God I wish we had better candidates!!! I prefer the loose cannon to the dull and dreary pontificator. God help us all!!!!

I plan to fill in the write in box with someone I feel is worthy. A real person. Not someone like “The Sith Emperor”. According to an electoral judge, they have to count the write in votes.

pfei2582Unless you are one of the 535 lucky Republicans who are actually permitted to vote for president, you are correct for that office. However, there are a large number of “down ballot” offices in which you are not only permitted to cast a significant vote, and I question the loyalty of anyone qualified who doesn’t.

Didn’t you enjoy the beginning of the final act of the circus they so carefully crafted just for you?
Wait until the photo finish…you’ll just die….
