If he can escape death, and the concrete encasement, and the deep burial, and survive the embalming process, I doubt that a toddler-sized fence will contain him. And when did the cemetery train the necessary squirrels to keep watch from the corner towers?

“I’m gonna put him in jail until he rots. No, check that. I’m gonna put him in jail til the jail rots on top of him. Then I’ll put him in a new jail and let that jail rot.” —Judge Doc Hudson from “Cars”.

This reminds me of a T-shirt ad that keeps popping up on my screen: Don’t piss off old people. The older we get, the less “life in prison” is a deterrent.

But serving out the rest of the sentence in solitary confinement is a little harsh… :)

H-m-m-m-m Seems I’m sensing a slight negative tone in today’s comments.

This country has its pluses and minuses and obviously not everyone is happy about all that goes on. But, on the bright side, one is free to express opinions based on one’s own views and to hear the views of others without being forced to accept them. One is free to seek a job where he/she produces goods or services while raising a family – or not – and to use the net income as one chooses. One can pursue an education in any field of interest or change to another at any point.

The list of possibilities is endless. So perhaps it is time to take another look at what surrounds us and maybe set a different goal for the future.

Judge once sentenced a guy to two consecutive life sentences. The guy asked, “Judge, how can I do that?” Judge said, “Just do the best you can.”

Back in the day many families buried family members behind heavy bars so that grave robbers could not sell the bodies to Doctors or Medical Schools.
