Rat finds the sound soothing.

I’d be surprised of Rat next using an electric hedge trimmer on no hedges.

Why does the sound seem less annoying when its in our own yard but in the neighbor’s it sounds horrendous?

I dunno. Leaf-blowers are annoying, certainly, but they’re mostly seasonal and people don’t usually run them all day. OTOH, while they may not be so loud, wind chimes…

I have no leaves, I have no yard, and I’m pretty sure there’s no such thing as 8 a.m.

“That’s because I use my leaf blower on Saturday mornings at 8 a.m., dummy.”

Rat blew his mouth away.

Sunday is supposed to be a day of REST. Though, I suppose Rat might find that sound restful.

Well, of course, Bob Rat has no leaves. He’s blown all of them into your rain gutters.

That sucks, errrr blows.

Leaf blowers are an evil and unnecessary waste of fuel. They should be banned, with severe penalties for owning or using one. Use a nice quiet rake or live with the leaves.

Wait! What? How about the noise disturbing the neighbors at 8am? On a Saturday?

The idea of Rat working anything other than his mouth is hard to picture ;-) …. Croc Power !

It’s a sad commentary on modern society that a product made to blow your mess away instead of cleaning it up has become so popular.

By coincidence, my neighbor was running his leaf blower this morning at 7:30. He may have trees. It’s not an objectionable sound. But you can hear it.

Try living next to a 24/7 Car Wash – and not the drive-through type!

Impossible. There is no way Rat would be up at 8:00 A.M. on a Saturday morning. 3:00 P.M, maybe but 8:00 in the morning?

Start the lawn mower at 7:30 am.

I use my “leaf blower” after I mow to blow the refuse back onto the lawn. You don’t have to have leaves on the ground.

Neighbor Bob: “Your Leaf Blower is a crock!”

Rat: “Oh, no! I use the Hedge Trimmer to annoy them!”

8:00 a.m. is a perfectly reasonable time here in the Phoenix area. By 9:00 am, temperatures are approaching 100 degrees.

Apparently Rat is my neighbor.. I never realized. But the man is incapable of having a single blade of grass, leaf or dust mote on his yard or driveway. I wake every weekend at dawn to to sound of leaf blowers, pressure washers and lawnmowers… gas powered tools are his nirvana. Soon it will be winter and it will be the snowblower…

This shows that Rat is both a masochist and sadist.

Sounds like rat. And too many real people.

Worse than just obnoxious and a busy-body, Neighbor Bob is ungrammatical! (should be “You and I need to talk.”) Get him, Rat! Start your non-leaf blowing at 7:00 AM!

If it’s any consolation, Neighbor Bob, I was awakened this morning (Saturday) before 8 a.m. by drums coming from the marching band of the university that’s near me. I went back to sleep later, but still a pain. Life goes on, though.

Better final panel: “And you actually borrowed it from me.”

“You and I need to,” not, “You and me need to…”

I mean can you blame me the sound is very satisfying especially since it blocks out any other noises.
