Y’know, I’m not too offended by people who actually just say what offends them. I may disagree, but hey: No games. What really offends me is when someone takes offense on behalf  of some other group. Like “If I were an Elbonion, I would find that kind of macaroni offensive, so I know it’s offensive.”

It’s kind of like upside down and backward cultural appropriation.

I think he would have been happier reading “Nancy”; he just seemed like a real “Nancy” boy.

And Rat didn’t even get any on him.

Actually, feeling offended once in awhile is good for you as it teaches you a sense of values. But being overly offended all the time is just stupid.

Another annoyingly preachy, predictable Pearls Before Swine.

I am so sick of hearing about politics! I’m glad that there is a comic that doesn’t mention it. I read the comics for enjoyment not to catch up what is happening in Washington DC.

It’s still relevant.

So Pastis went totally PC with the character – definitely not college-aged, or female, non-white and/or covered with piercings, non-traditional dress or hair, or an obvious accent of any kind (unless it was Southern, it’s always okay to make fun of us). He played it safe, and that’s just hilarious to me.

What if panel 4 said, “So we talked about it. We didn’t change each other’s minds, but that wasn’t the point.”

Some people really can’t really handle the concept of free speech.

Oh, I love the sight and sound of Offended heads exploding in the morning! And in the afternoon. And at night….
