I don’t think that’s how it works, Pig.

The ingredients for carbonara may include different cheeses, bacon, heavy cream, garlic or not, egg, pepper, and traditionally other options except for the kitchen sink. these additives are not consistent enough to define a “carbonara sauce” per se.

After yesterday’s downer of a strip, this was refreshing.
