It is a shame that mosey is not an Olympic event because I’d be good at it. The alternative to hightail it is to slink away. I was wondering about Opal’s use of the word “my”. Are these cupcakes only for her?

I can relate to mosey, but not to hightailing it. At my age I seem to have a permanent hiccup in my giddyup.

Why does Opal bake if it’s not for her family? No one should be made to feel they have to sneak to get a snack….M M M M M

Truthfully, I never saw a hightail horse. Their tail was stringing straight back. Unlike our whitetail deer which flash you when they run in fear.

In my house, if goodies were on a plate they were fair game. If you went after ones sealed in a container, there was going to be hades to pay. That meant they were for a specific time or event.
