1st time I had peach pie I was in Tank school at Ft Knox, wrote my mother and when I got home from VN almost 2 years later, I had 1 at home!

Our first dog once (when we were out of the kitchen) got up on the table and ate an entire pineapple upside-down cake. We realized it when we found the spotlessly empty cake pan.

Now if it was a traditional Scottish steak and kidney pie I could understand this; but peach…yuck!

What we see is called an “island”, people can stand on either side. They often have stools so folks can sit and eat. I propose that Roscoe used a stool to ascend to the surface of the island.

Doggie eats the crust and give peaches to bear so he can have the shitz.

I wonder how fast Earl eats the pies.

My dog is next to me with a wistful look on her face.

This thread makes me wonder why people like dogs so much, if they are always snarfing any food left on a flat surface for more than a minute. Or maybe some people train their dogs not to do that sort of thing.

We’re owned by three, Newfoundlands, the smallest is a year old and weighs 103 pounds. She learned how to push a chair with her nose, over to the counter and climb up on it and then onto the counter! The other two, both fully grown at 3 years’ old, simply walk over to the kitchen counter and standing on their hind legs….. gobble up anything we’ve forgotten to put away out of their reach!
