Gatling gun, double no less, versus single shot musket is hardly fair, Wiz. Though P and H forgot to show the cartridges mounted to the back of the barrels, so the gun shouldn’t be able to fire. I guess with wizard power, anything is possible.

I always said that it would be quite a different outcome if the deer were armed.

a few years ago I was a referee for a war game for French and Indian war re-enactors. moving through some woods in New York we heard a noise on the other side of a slight rise, assumed it was the french and got ready to attack.

Ranging over the rise we saw a large band of wild turkeys that at once took flight. as one man said "If only we’d had ball in the muskets-there was thanksgiving dinner on the wing

Well, deer carrying twin .50 cal. Gatling guns would be a lot easier to spot in the woods.

that is funny, but to be fair there are places with way too many deer since we’ve taken away their predators. Not good for us or the deer.

The moment our ancestors ancestor first picked up a rock or stick and used it as a weapon, we won.
