What did you expect from a guy who goes to bed topless in the winter.

High temperatures in the 80s the next few days in New Jersey.

She’ll be that warm in a minute Arlo. Fall in the South! Hope you haven’t shut all the A/C down.

Obviously in the 50’s

Different people have different reactions to temperature.

I like the fall after a good freeze takes out the mosquitoes.

Thee glory of southern mornings. Wake up to low 50F by 9AM it’ll be 70+.

It was 95F/35C here at my home yesterday. It is predicted to be about that today. Fortunately we got some rain last night and we’re now up to 4.21in/107mm for the year.

Just like our place, my wife is freezing while I shed layers…

42 in the morning and 76 in the afternoon here in NH.

I remember 3 years ago exactly in northern Missouri that you started the morning in a sweater or sweatshirt, mid morning long-sleeved, mid-afternoon short sleaved and almost shorts, to evening back in sweater all in one day.

Another reason women are from Venus… ☺

Arlo! This ain’t the beach! Ain’t nobody wanna see that!

Twin Cities (MN) marathon canceled today because of extreme heat. Leaf color change in the northeast minimal and due only to shorter days not colder weather, with folks still wearing short pants.

Late Summer’s early morning coolness is short-lived.

“Cool time of the year”. It’s going to be in the 80’s all week here near Detroit….

A few more weeks for us in FL. Still need the air on.

A lot of the USA is having a heatwave, a tropical heatwave.

Arlo has been going through mental-pause for decades.

That’s almost us – except that I would never have on a sweater/sweatshirt in the first place, and She would never say anything positive about any temp below 80°……….

Some of us really do love the cold weather and fall colors and don’t need to dress up warmly…..

…and yet they are thinking of moving down south. Janis will miss the cooler weather and Arlo will die in the year round heat…

I’m with Arlo. I cannot wear long sleeves this time of the year and I’ll wear shorts all winter. Meanwhile, I have family and friends who bundle up and will still be chilly walking through the frozen food aisles at the supermarket.

Great timing. 80+ degrees here today.

It is supposed to be near 90­° on Wednesday where I am at. It is is typically in the 50’s and 60’s now. Has been hovering around the 80’s for a couple of days now.

Except that autumn is fleeting, & winter is not!!
