Elvis is still being the ever vigilent reporter. Puck is being ever so friendly. And Lupin? Oh, Lupin, those ears and claws are not being friendly!

All I can do is smile!

Elvis wants information, Puck wants a new friend, and Lupin wants…REVENGE!

The only one who gets to see Pucky’s toe beans today is Goldie — I’m jealous! :)

Hi there Orbsters! I got some sad news from my extended family yesterday. My Sister and Brother in Law unexpectedly lost his Mother. She went to sleep in her bed on Saturday night and woke up in heaven. His Brother and Sister and he are nearly inconsolable. As my Sisters and I traveled down the long road of Alzheimer’s with our Mom, Margaret became much more dear to my Sister. My heart breaks for them. On the other hand, it was my Birthday yesterday! After Andylit and I did our Thanksgiving shopping, he took me for a nice dinner, and that was lovely. An update on our elder cat Shadow: 2 weeks have passed without a grand mal seizure! I am relieved that her new course of meds are helping her have better quality of life.I hope everyone has a good day… Head boops to all!

Ah, memories. We once brought in a cat belonging to some neighbors and put him in the downstairs bathroom, just so we could keep him there until we got his People to come pick him up. Our cats were not happy about it!

A cat? Now, don’t be ridiculous, man. Now why would there a cat be in there? It’s as if you’re saying that there’s a bear in the comment boards.

Lupin seems to be channelling Yum Yum when she sees a strange cat! That is why she will probably always be an only.

Looks like Lupin is Mr. Angry Fussy Paws today!

Mental note: Do not invite the Woman when we rob the bank. Her secret keeping abilities are not great…But her heart and generosity towards animals is wonderful…Invite her when we open the Animal rescue center.

Ah, the memories of Callie’s introduction to the family. A stray, who would not have made it through the night(a week of over 100+). She was just reathing and could not hold her head up. Brought her in to cool her down on the ceramic tile floor and put her in a separate room. Last panel today, is identical only the names changed.

Goldie in the office? Bad call, she will get into alllllll your tapes.

I would have thought Elvis would have been the one with the most hostile reaction to the new cat.

My Vlad is now on thyroid meds and he, for a while at least, took it crushed up in cat friendly broth. That worked for a while. Of course, chasing him with the bowl probably didn’t help, because he wasn’t drinking it as much. So, after watching a bunch of videos on how to give a cat a pill, I’ve opted for this method: an eyedropper. Crush the pill, get an eyedropper full of broth, mix thoroughly, reload dropper, and squirt into mouth. Short, quick, less stress on both, and don’t have to worry about loosing a finger.

Meanwhile . . . the pies are disappearing into the robber’s den!

Reminds me of the weeks we had Jasper in the front bathroom. About ten days into it we put a glass pet gate so he and Foxy could see each other. Foxy never failed to say “Ssss” as she walked by.

Go Pucky….. I will be your best friend.

It’s odd to see the roles reversed for Lupin and Elvis, with the new guest there. Could it be that romance may be in the air?

Happy Gotcha day Goldie. It’s our old girl’s Gotcha Day today too, her sixteenth. It’s our Panther Boy’s seventh next month. Our girl was just as happy about him joining us, as Lupin is with Goldie. :D

Odd, but the targeted ads, which are from Dover Books on my browser, include Hell’s Cartographers , Fantomas , The Best of Max Carrados , and… The Pie Book … suspicious…

4:30 on Friday I got home from school. 5:00 and the tickle in my throat started. 9:00 and my throat was on fire and I was alternating between fever and chills. Yep, I’ve got the flu. At least I don’t have school this week. I do have to get the fence and an old mattress loaded in the trailer and taken to the customer center for bulky items by Wednesday. If I take it, there is no charge. The city wanted $75 to pick it up. Not gonna happen.

The last time I had the flu was almost 2 years ago when Marc died.

A few months ago, my wife was picking up a cat from the H.S. after we got it spayed. Someone brought in 4 kittens, all sneezing, all with crusty eyes. The HS refused to take them, and wouldn’t even let us (approved fosters) take them through the HS. So she had to take the kittens from the lady and bring them home.

She left a message on my phone ‘Stop by PetsMart and get kitten food.’ I didn’t even question, I just stopped and got food.

Then on Fri, I trapped a feral kitten near work. Thought she’d (?) need to be fixed, but when I got home we found she was already tipped. She’s pretty scared, but might be coming along.

Man, I have seen this movie several times. Yehah!
